Is it okay to tell little white lies, to keep from hurting people’s feelings? Or, alternately,…should we shield people from the truth?
This is not an easy question for most people, because who in their life has not, to one degree or another, told either a big whopping lie, or at the very least, a little white lie? So in order to figure this out, we must start at the beginning with what we know to be true, because if you don’t know the truth, then how can you tell if, and when, you are lying?
Therefore, truth is reality, as it exists, moment to moment, everywhere,… and since God is everything, then God represents the ultimate reality, and the complete truth. Now a good question you might want to ask yourself is, why anyone would have a problem with reality? What is it about reality as it really is, that scares you so much that, you would want to distort it by telling a lie?
