Disfunctionality of Governments and Political Systems

What do you have to say with regards to the disfunctionality of governments and political systems in general?

We would say, as we have stated so many times before, all actions are the result of the beliefs which precipitated them. Therefore a wide range of beliefs will be the source from which a wide range of actions are born.

With regards to politics and systems of governments, it would be accurate to say that they are the result of the core beliefs of the populace of any given country. As a consequence, the efficiency, affluence, and harmony within that country, is represented by those same qualities, in the minds of that countries people.

What we are saying then, is that the qualities which you would like to see displayed by your politicians and government, must first exist within the minds of the people who created and support that particular system of government. Therefore what is going on externally to you and other people, is but a reflection of what is going on in your minds.

Our question to you then, would be to ask why you are so content with your beliefs, and so discontented with the physical manifestations you have created, as a result of those same beliefs?

Even those of you who suspect that “beliefs” are at the core of the problem, prefer to view your beliefs as being accurate, and the beliefs of other people as being in error. We will say that no matter what aspect of life you are looking at, if there are people involved in the equation, then you have the potential for behavior of both a low and high vibrational nature.

This is true because each person is in possession of a consciousness, which is guided by an ego. The ego is your earthbound connection to your higher consciousness, and is primarily concerned with your survival needs, and the “self.” Obviously, from the perspective of your ego this is okay, however when this attitude is multiplied by seven billion people, you begin to see the reason for all the problems which political systems and governments are facing.
