The idea of a spiritual family has its origins in the fact that all people are spiritual beings by origin and definition, who are inhabiting a physical body while they are on earth. The penchant for people to develop relationships with each other is really a reflection of those vibrationally higher, more permanent relationships, which exist in realms outside physicality.
